Weymouth... wow

The days of Sunday 26th and Monday 27th May, 2013 shall be with me forever :)

I went to Weymouth, Dorset then and it was so wonderful. It was my first time down there (I have been nearby to Portsmouth and Southampton before) and I was truly stunned by the beauty of the scenery.

I would truly recommend everyone go there at some point, especially during the summertime when the sun is out.

As usual, my dearest friend, my Canon 60D, accompanied me on the trip and we had a joyous time  :)
Went down the south coast with a coach and so started taking pictures from Chelsea all the way down.

I really hope you enjoy it and give me feedback :)

P.S: In the picture labelled "Kayak or Horseback", look to the hills in the background and you will see the Osmington White Horse which was sculpted in 1808. :)

Spring on the Thames

A few things you should do when in London:

  • Visit the Tate Modern museum & other museums,
  • See the view from the London Eye or up The Shard,
  • Walk around the Tower of London and or go up Tower Bridge,
  • Stroll through Camden Town; visit Cottons bar and taste some Caribbean rums,
  • Visit Kew Gardens (better during Spring and Summer),
  • Visit the sites in Greenwich; see the Cutty Sark,
  • Walk along the Thames River

Personally, I do not see the big deal in visiting Madame Tussauds but that is just because I am not too fussed about see celebrities. Do visit if you are into that though.

LET ME KNOW WHERE ELSE YOU HAVE VISITED!

The following are a few of my favourite pics from a stroll along the Thames River...

Please do feel free to LIKE the post and leave me your feedback. I do look forward to hearing from you :)

The View from The Shard

I decided to take a trip to "the top" by visiting the observational deck of The Shard, the tallest building in the European Union as at today 18th February, 2015 standing at 306 m (1,004 ft).

It was everything I thought it would be with amazing views of London for miles around. You can see everything from the 72nd floor; Wembley Stadium, Canary Wharf, London Eye, etc with the mighty Thames river running through it all, winding its way, creating the illusion that every destination is merely seconds away from the other.

The next time I decide to scale the tower, I will ensure it is night time so I can capture the beauty of London and the snaking Thames when the lights are on and city truly comes alive with colour.

The following are three (3) pictures I took to share with you and hope you enjoy them and feel free to LIKE and comment on your favourite(s):

Estonia; my first trip

Pictures from my first trip to Estonia. I had an absolutely amazing time; went during the summer solstice. Met lots of lovely people and ate very delicious foods. I would totally recommend everyone visit Estonia at some time if the opportunity arises :)

The pictures below only give a glimpse of how colourful and refreshing the country is.
I hope you really enjoy the pictures and as usual, feel free to leave me your comments... the negative ones you can send to my electronic pager and I will respond in due course  :)
